Windows10 navigation bar hides the U disk and does not let it display

In the Win10 system, we insert the navigation bar U disk into the computer, and the connected U disk will be displayed on the desktop navigation bar. Then, if we want to hide it? Xiaobian has a little trick to share with you, mainly by modifying the registry.

The setting method is as follows:

1. Enter regedit in the Cortana search bar or run and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

2. Navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Desktop\\NameSpace\\DelegateFolders\\{F5FB2C77-0E2F-4A16-A381-3E560C68BC83}.

3. Rename the item “{F5FB2C77-0E2F-4A16-A381-3E560C68BC83}”, for <;{F5FB2C77-0E2F-4A16-A381-3E560C68BC83}”. That is to say, add the minus sign to the original name “-”

Through the above steps after setting next insert U disk, U disk device icon will not appear in the navigation bar. To restore the original settings, just remove the minus sign “-” you just added. Xiao Bian suggested that it is best to back up before this operation, you can easily achieve it with the help of the soft media Rubik's cleaning master.
