Microsoft released Windows 10 Update Business Edition

At the Microsoft Lighting Conference in Chicago today, CEO Satya Nadella announced the launch of a commercial version of Windows Update. As its name implies, this is Windows 10's service for businesses because Windows 10 introduces a new update system that helps companies better control the update process. In Windows 10, Microsoft is using the platform as a service, which means that Microsoft can add features more quickly and release patches more quickly.

This is not a problem for consumers, but it is imperative for companies to fully control the update process because they must keep updates and patches compatible with enterprise critical applications.

Microsoft's commercial version of Windows Update today is a new management option for Windows 10 that keeps devices up-to-date with the latest security updates and Windows features. The new solution will help reduce management costs and allow enterprise IT managers to control updates and deployments, giving organizations faster access to security updates and critical patches. In addition, the Windows Store Business Edition provides additional manageability that enables company decision makers to get trusted software or content across the entire team and company.

The commercial version of Windows Update will provide a distribution ring that allows IT professionals to specify the device to receive updated priority levels; maintenance windows that IT professionals can update or not update on specified devices within the set date; peer-to-peer updates , allowing IT professionals to distribute updates point-to-point, leveraging the limited bandwidth of the office.
