Win10 Build 10049 Registry Editor has been updated on

4 July 7: Win10 Build 10049 Some less common feature improvements may not be easy to find, such as the Registry Editor right-click menu item. This improvement was first introduced in Win10 Preview 10041, and the option at the bottom of the right-click menu provides a jump function with the same name <; item”.

Win10 Registry

Take the “SYSTEM item” as an example. After right-clicking SYSTEM in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, the option to jump to HKEY_CURRENT_USER in SYSTEM will appear at the bottom of the menu. Then you can complete the jump. Similarly, after the jump, if you right click on the SYSTEM item in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, you can see the option to jump to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE at the bottom of the menu.

Microsoft's improvement to the registry is very useful. Users of the registry editor should have a deep understanding. The registry often has the same name, and many times it needs to be modified at the same time. The addition of the jump function makes this modification work more convenient. It is reported that this function is also added by Microsoft based on feedback from users of Win10 internal testing.
