PC version of Windows 10 hardware requirements announced

After the hardware requirements for the mobile version of Windows 10 were announced, Microsoft now announced the hardware requirements for the Windows version of Windows 10.

According to the official chart, Windows 10 PC version 32-bit minimum requires 1GB memory, 16GB hard drive, while 64-bit version requires a minimum of 2GB memory and 20GB hard drive, in addition to DX9 graphics card, The screen resolution must be greater than 800×600.

Compared with the hardware requirements of Windows 8, Windows 10 has almost no improvement, and deliberately does not emphasize processor performance. It seems that Microsoft believes that most of the current processors can satisfy Windows 10 demand.

It is worth mentioning that Microsoft has added UEFI 2.3.1 to the list of minimum requirements. It is not clear whether Windows 10 must be started with UEFI. If this is the case, it will definitely abolish one. A large number of antique machines with sufficient performance but not UEFI boot.
