Win8 uses IE10 to copy the address function to copy the URL to the address bar

  

If we need to open the same website in another browser, generally copy the URL to the address bar, then press Enter or click on the right side of the address bar to go to ” In Win8's IE10 browser, you can use the "go to the copied address" function to achieve. How do I do this?

After copying a URL, create a new tab and click on the right side of the page in the New tab to see the "Go to the copied address" option. As shown in the figure:

PS: In IE10, whether the new tab is opened is a common page, a blank page or a specified web page, this option can be displayed by right clicking on the blank space of the page. This is also a better place than IE9. If you open a common page or a blank page in IE9 New Tab, there is no such function.

If you are copying not a URL, but a piece of text, then the option will become "Search with copied text". As shown in the figure:

In Win8's IE10 browser, you can use the “go to the copied address” to save the paste and return steps. If the copied content is recognized as a non-URL, The search function can be used automatically, which is further convenient for users.
