Win8 search super button can not find all the reasons and solutions

  

In the Win8 system, the search function is very powerful. Basically, everything in the system can be searched out, but there are strange things: many files will not be searched when searching, but you can find the file by opening the hard disk. Why is the search function so malfunctioning? Actually this is the file not added to the index. How to solve it?

Use the "Search" super button to search for "index" in “Set>, and you can see "Index Options" in the search results. Figure:

Win8 will index libraries, emails and offline files by default, not for storing programs and system files. Folders are indexed to speed up searches.

Click the “Edit” button at the bottom of the window to open the “index location” window. Figure:

Select the folder you need to add to the index, then <;OK” to add to the index. When you search later through the "Search" super button, the search location will include these folders.

Also, click the “Advanced” button to open the “Advanced Options” window. As shown in the figure:

Here you can make advanced settings for the index options. For example, if you can't find a file of a certain type, you can see if the file type is not selected in the file type. The extension of these files can be manually added to the list without the extension.
