How to open Win10 9901 new Modern sound control interface

In the newly leaked Win10 9901, we saw Microsoft's determination to cancel the traditional interface to replace the Modern style. For example, the calculator only retains the Modern version of the application, and the Windows update is completely Metroized. In the Build 9901, the sound control interface was also designed in the Modern style, but it is hidden like the Modern style clock application and needs to be turned on. But this new Modern sound control interface is the same as the new Modern style clock application It is also hidden and needs to be opened by modifying the registry. Here's how to change the registry to open the new Modern Sound Control interface for Win10 9901:

Open the Registry Editor and navigate to the following path in the left branch navigation:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\MTCUVC

Note: It is recommended to back up the registry before modification

If there is no MTCUVC item, you can create a new one. Then create a new DWORD (32-bit) value named EnableMtcUvc in the right window, and then set the value data of the value to 1 (if you want to restore the default later, just change the value to 0, or delete the newly created The MTCUVC item can be).

Close the Registry Editor and restart the Windows Explorer explorer.exe, which opens the new Modern Sound Control interface in the Win10 9901 preview. Then you can click on the sound icon in the lower right corner of the screen to see the sound control interface as shown above. However, this is still an interface at the initial stage, but I believe that the Modern Sound Control interface will be improved in the Win10 January Technology Preview released by Microsoft's second Win10 conference in January next year.

Software design is divided into coding design and UI design. UI design has long been ignored. Win10 follows the Modern style of Win8 and discards traditional styles such as calculators and clocks in many applications. The friendliness of the interface design can bring the user closer to the Win10 system. Win10's emphasis on the UI interface design style will allow a new interface to be seen.
