Win10 can switch the start menu/screen without logging off the computer.

One of the highlights of the Win10 preview is the return of the start menu. Many old users who have upgraded directly from the Win7 and WinXP eras have accepted this new system. However, some Win8/Win8.1 users like to start the screen settings, especially for tablet users. Therefore, switching between these two modes may sometimes be used frequently. In general, when you switch through the system default method, the system will force you to log out and log in again. This setting has greatly affected the fluency of our daily work, because once you cancel, all current tasks have to be saved and exited, which is really inconvenient. At this time the problem is coming. Is there any way to avoid this trouble? The answer is certainly yes. However, this method involves the modification of the registry. In case, just in case, it is recommended that the friend who wants to try this method use the soft media Rubik's cleanup master (click to download) to back up the registry and then perform the following steps.

The specific method is as follows:

1. Enter regedit in the Start menu search bar or “Run” and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

2, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Advanced

3. After clicking Advanced, find EnableStartMenu in the right window and double click to open. If the current value of "Value data" is 1, it indicates that the current system is using the start menu; when the value of "Value data" is 0, the start screen is used.

4, after changing to the current value (value 1 and value 0 interchange), click OK, directly restart the file manager explorer.exe process (can be easily implemented with soft media Rubik's cube) The amendment takes effect.

This method is very simple and fast, and the biggest advantage is that you don't have to log out again. However, due to the restart of the explorer.exe process, all Explorer windows will still be closed. All if you use those windows at the time, please be prepared before the conversion.
