Win10 will add a variety of information security features to improve the security factor

The recent "New York Times" has a report, the world's 1.2 billion Internet users account was stolen by a Russian hacker organization, and the total number of Internet users is 1.8 billion, which caused people A broad focus on cybersecurity. In Windows official blog, Microsoft's Jim Alkove also stated this disturbing fact when emphasizing the importance of modern network information security and identity protection. He said that Microsoft will improve the security factor and protect users in Windows 10. Identity and information security: including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), a built-in data protection solution that separates personal and office data, and Microsoft provides whitelisting services for businesses. And the way to securely authenticate through WP mobile devices has been added.

In Windows 10, the first layer of protection provided by Microsoft is to use multi-factor authentication MFA. In addition to supporting password-only access to computers, it also supports password + PIN code or password + biometric authentication. . The security factor for computer access is greatly improved, and the user's mobile device can also be used as a required authentication factor, for example, only when the user's mobile device is connected to the PC via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Windows 10 also has a built-in data protection solution that separates and protects corporate office data from personal data. Applications, data, email and web content related to the enterprise are automatically encrypted without user intervention. It also provides secure access to protected documents via Windows Phone devices.

Microsoft also added a signing service to Windows 10 to verify the trust whitelisted application service added by the organization. The signing service is controlled by a review process similar to the ISV release process in the Windows Store, ensuring that access is strictly limited except for corporate employees.

Of course, Jim Alkove said that Windows 10 is still in the process of development, and will continue to add more security features in the future to improve system security.
