How to enter WinPE in the virtual machine

  
Sometimes we need to test the Windows PE image file in a virtual machine. Take VMWare Workstation as an example. The steps are as follows: 1. Run the VM software Workstation and create a new virtual machine (such as xp). 2. Return to the main window of the program, click the “Edit Virtual Machine Settings” button in the Windows XP tab, click “Edit Virtual Machine Settings”, and open the “Virtual Machine Settings” dialog box. Click the CD-ROM option in the “Devices” list of the “Hardware” tab, then select the “Use ISO Image” radio button on the right side of the “Connections” area and click “&ldquo” ; Browse the & rdquo; button, . 4. In the "Open ISO Image" dialog box, find and select the ISO image file created in advance, and click “Open”. 5. Return to the “Virtual Machine Settings” dialog box and click “OK”. 6. Return to the main VMWare Workstation program window and click "Start this virtual machine" in the Windows xp tab. 7. The virtual machine starts to use the system maintenance CD ISO file to start. In the opened “Confirm” dialog box, the user is asked to confirm whether network support is enabled. Click the Yes button. 8. Open the “PE Network Configurator-Network Profiles” dialog box. Users can choose to use DHCP dynamic IP address or static IP address according to the network environment where the computer is located. Check the “Static IP Address" option and click the OK button. 9. The PE starts to enable the network adapter and configure the network. In the "PE Network Configurator" dialog box that opens, set the IP address according to the actual situation and click OK. 10. Enter the PE interface and click the GO button. The user can select the functions of the PE in the list similar to the Windows system start menu for system maintenance.
