Recover lost system super administrator password with Windows PE

  
        

Sometimes we forget the super administrator password of Windows XP, can't enter the system and can't log in the safe mode with command line. At this time, we can use some tools to modify the super administrator password. This article takes WinPE as an example. How to change the password.

1. Download a ZIP file of "Deep Mountain Red Leaf PE Toolbox No. 1 Commemorative Edition", extract it into an ISO file, and burn it into a CD with a recorder.

2. Start the computer with the CD and select WinPE system through the menu bar.

3. After entering the WinPE system, select the "Start → Programs → Windows System Maintenance → Windows User Password Repair" menu.

4. In the subsequent step of selecting the Windows directory, select the system directory, such as "C: Windows". Then create a new administrator user (such as setting the user name a, password a), click the "Apply" button, and a new super administrator account will be generated.

5. Restart the computer and we will be able to access the system through the newly created Super Administrator a account. Then modify the super administrator administrator password.
