Detailed work process of the recycle bin

Q: Please tell us more about the working process of the Recycle Bin?

A: First of all, the Windows "Recycle Bin" is a real folder that exists in the root directory of the hard disk. Under normal circumstances, it is hidden and its file name is "Recycled". When we deleted the file in Windows using the Explorer or other program in the normal way, the file was not actually deleted, and Windows just put it in the "Recycle Bin".

For each fixed disk partition, the Recycle Bin creates a "Recycled" hidden folder for it under the root directory. When we delete a file under a disk partition, Windows will place the location information of the deleted file into a file named "INFO2" in the "Recycle Bin" of the partition for extracting information from the system when it is restored. Every time we look at the "Recycle Bin" from the Windows desktop or empty the "Recycle Bin" content, the system will automatically search all the disk partitions, which takes a certain amount of time, its length and the size of the hard disk partition and the number of partitions direct relation. Note: If you have a removable external hard drive and delete it in Widnows, then the next time you clean up the Recycle Bin, Windows will look for the drive through the communication port, which may cost you Longer time.

Note: If you delete a file with the "Shift+Del" key in the Explorer, it will not be restored from the Recycle Bin. In addition, if you delete some files in the MS-Dos window mode of Windows, you can only try to restore them under DOS with the Undelete command.
