Win10 Build 14316: "Message" application is more complete, the new cross-device experience is coming soon

Computer Store News: At the 2014 WWDC, Apple introduced the Continuity feature on its Mac and iOS product lines. Prior to this, Google introduced a similar solution for cross-device communications in its Bable service, and in 2013 it was renamed Google Hangouts.

In early 2015, Microsoft hosted a special event for the upcoming new features of Windows 10. Among the new features, there was a native information service between devices (mainly Windows Phone and Windows 10 PC). This feature is very similar to Apple's Continuity or Google's Hangouts. Today, with the push of Windows 10 Insider Build 14316, Windows users seem to be one step closer to the real “Messaging Everywhere” experience. The idea behind Microsoft Messaging is actually quite simple: start a session over SMS on your phone and continue the session on the PC without gaps. Part of Microsoft's approach to messaging services is to leverage its popular Skype service. With Skype's cross-platform and cross-device architecture, Microsoft will be able to bring true "who is everywhere" to Windows 10 users. Since the announcement in January 2015, the company has gone a long way in this feature, and Windows 10 and Windows Phone users can count on this feature. However, on the Windows 10 Redstone Insider Preview Build 14316 push, the Windows system significantly speeded up the launch of the feature and hinted at the arrival of the feature entity.
”Messages Everywhere” Preview is coming soon: We will soon open a "Preview" message in Windows 10, which allows you to send directly from Windows 10 PC and Receive text messages from your Windows phone. You will see some options for this feature in the Messaging app on your PC. However, to use this feature, the Mobile Messaging app needs to be updated. We will provide more messages when this feature is available.

The general situation is that when Windows 10 Mobile's new build version is pushed or the News app receives an update, the Insiders will end up with their long-awaited "messages everywhere" experience. So far, the Windows team has only succeeded in transferring mobile-side messages to the PC. So, the new "Messaging Everywhere" preview may be built on better functionality and newer features. We can only wait for further action from Microsoft. Need to explain here, the Insider needs to choose Fast Ring to get this function.
