Microsoft: The next Win10 technology preview version needs to be bound to the LIVE account

Computer store news: Microsoft will release the Win10 official version system on July 29, and some changes will affect the Windows Insider project members. Insider members will need to log in to their Microsoft account after the next Win10 preview update.

Insider project leader Gabriel Aul said:

“If you don't have a Microsoft account (MSA) link to your PC, then from the next build, you You will see a notification request for the Microsoft account binding. You need to log in with the Microsoft account registered with the Windows Insider project (accept the Microsoft Windows Insider project agreement), in order to better receive the new Win10 preview push, including the fast version and the slow version. If you already have a Microsoft account and are already bound to your PC, then you are ready to do everything. We will introduce a new infrastructure in Windows updates to help achieve more effective system push. And make sure that Windows Insider users are real and effective, and that when linked to your computer, you can seamlessly use Microsoft accounts in Windows Feedback and Insider Hub applications. ”

If you have already logged into your Microsoft account before, then there is nothing to prepare. We are introducing a new infrastructure for ‘Windows Update & rsquo; to help us push new Build updates for Insider members more efficiently. Logging in to your Microsoft account also gives you seamless access to the exclusive features of Insider members in Windows Feedback and Member Center.

Aul later added that this change is only for Insider preview members, those who update from Win7 or Win8.1 to the official version of Win10 do not need to log in to their Microsoft account, provided they do not receive a preview. Version update. This also applies to PCs that are pre-installed with the Win10 system.

Insider members will receive another Build version of the Windows 10 official version of the system push on July 29th. Aul added:

There are many Insider members asking me if they can install the ISO image directly. As long as you are still running a Win10 preview and have logged in to the Microsoft account you originally registered, you will receive the final version of Win10 and remain active. Once you have successfully installed and activated the official version of Win10, you can also choose to reinstall and get a fresh start.

Of course, after the official version of Win10 is pushed, the Insider project will continue, and Insider members will still get patches and functional updates to be pushed before the average user. Aul said that the Member Center app will not be pre-installed in the next preview update, but Insider members can manually download and install it.
