Win10 Preview Edition 9901: Modern Sound Control Interface Enable Method

Computer Shop News: Win10 Preview Edition 9901 has recently been updated with a new version of the Modern Interface application. Now, the Modern Sound Control interface can be enabled by modifying the registry.

Need to remind you that this method is not risky under the correct operation, but the registry itself is very important, so back up the registry before operation, just in case.

The specific operation is as follows:

1. Enter regedit in the start menu search bar or run and press Enter to open the registry editor.

2. Locate the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\MTCUVC

If you do not have MTCUVC, right click on CurrentVersion and create a new one. (key) is named MTCUVC.

3. After selecting MTCUVC, create a new DWORD 32-bit value on the right, name it EnableMtcUvc, and set its value data to 1.

4, restart the file manager explorer.exe process (software Rubik can be easily implemented).

5. At this point, you can click the sound icon in the notification area to view the new interface.

6, if you want to restore the default interface, just change the value of EnableMtcUvc back to 0, and restart the file manager.

After the change, you can find that this interface is still in the primary state, and the function is very imperfect, but you can use it to understand the future design mode of the sound control interface. I still don't know how much the Windows 10 preview version 9901 hides the secret of “freshly known”, the new Win10 version will be released in January next year, and users will be able to understand Win10 more clearly.
