WP share is declining, what should Microsoft do?

Computer Store News: Today, IDC reported that the 2.8% shipment of Windows Phone in Q2 2014 was released. For this result, WP is not surprised. Given that Microsoft Mobile and Nokia are in the transition period, in fact, this is the fifth consecutive quarter of WP share decline, what should Microsoft do to save the tide?

Considering this not optimistic downturn, Microsoft has taken strong measures since the Build conference in April this year, hoping to increase the share of WP, including Windows Phone 8.1, Windows Phone 9 system free, wooing new OEMs, making WP8.1 systems compatible with existing Android hardware devices, increasing support for growing markets (such as China), and general Windows applications more closely with Win8.1 systems .

Microsoft has also responded positively to the Windows Phone user needs of the Uservoice website, regularly adding new features suggested by users. But now, Microsoft is still a bit late for these things.

Microsoft's recent move also hints at a decline in Windows Phone's share, so that Microsoft has begun to provide support to other mobile systems. However, as the new mobile WP8.1 new machine is gradually launched in the second half of the year and more OEMs release new WP8.1 products, the shipment of WP mobile phones will increase.
