Solve a troubled operating system?

Computer Shop News: Compared to the rough edge of Windows 8, Windows 8.1 is smoother, which is very good, and Windows 8.1 adds some new features. In the operating system, these functions are inherent. It should be in the first place. But can Win8.1 solve the most serious problems of the troubled operating system? Win 8.1, as described in its blog post in Microsoft, provides a lot of nice fixes. Search will be improved to aggregate content from multiple sources, including websites, SkyDrive, apps, files, and features.

The SkyDrive app will be really useful so that users can easily get their SkyDrive files locally, not just in the cloud. PC settings can be obtained from a single location as a native Windows 8 application without having to switch back and forth between the desktop-based Control Panel and the Windows 8 interface. With the release of Windows 8.1, we will be welcoming Internet Explorer 11. The terrible Windows 8 native app will eventually display the Open tab and you can launch directly to the desktop, or all views of the application. All of this should prove to be useful. Michael Silver, an analyst at market research firm Gartner, talked about Windows 8.1 in an interview with Computer World: "The functionality of Windows 8.0 should be close to the capabilities of Windows 8.1 today. If Microsoft had more time, then this might be possible. & rdquo; analysts do not fully agree with this view, time is not the problem of Windows 8 release, and the problem is that its basic design philosophy is flawed. Microsoft decided to port a touch-based operating system to an existing keyboard- and mouse-based system. But Microsoft decided to force users to move to a touch-based interface, regardless of whether the user likes it or not, and whether Windows 8 devices are suitable for touch. Changes in Windows 8.1 make Windows more suitable for users who use traditional computers instead of tablets. But this still does not solve the basic problem that Windows 8.1 is actually two different operating systems. Windows 8.1 is designed for two different types of hardware. When Apple designed the iPad, it used an operating system for mobile phones and touch devices, and made the Mac OS X operating system intact on traditional computers. This is worth learning from Microsoft. At least from the initial description, Windows 8.1 does not seem to solve this basic problem, that is, to solve a troubled operating system.
