Microsoft said it is investigating the WinRT jailbreak tool

A few days ago, the Windows RT jailbreak tool appeared on the Internet, which means that the system users will be able to run unsigned applications. When TNX asked Microsoft about its views, Microsoft gave this response: “At the moment, we are actively investigating this tool and will take certain measures if necessary. ”

And just earlier this week, Microsoft learned that WinRT has been cracked, said that the crack version will not bring security holes to WinRT devices, and the hacker’s ingenuity sure. However, Microsoft also pointed out that the current cracked version may not be applicable to other WinRT devices in the future.

And as the situation evolved, Microsoft seems to have seen the potential threat posed by the cracked version. Yesterday, Steve Troughton-Smith successfully installed Apple's early OS X system on the Surface. XDA developer netham45 is the first person to embed Windows 95 on the Surface.

It seems that Microsoft has only two choices. One is to directly ignore the current happenings and indirectly support this kind of creative behavior. The other is to block this jailbreak tool. I don't know what choices it will make in the end?
