Microsoft Personal Cloud Storage Service SkyDrive updates multiple features

Microsoft's personal cloud storage service, SkyDrive, welcomed its first update this year in 2013. The R&D team offers more new features that make it easier for users to use SkyDrive's services more efficiently through the web interface and improve the touch interaction experience.

Consolidation Sharing

Users can share resources with anyone via email, Facebook, Twitter or even a simple link, or use several different sharing methods at the same time. For a more convenient operating experience, Microsoft has combined all of Skydrive's shared content and features into a single area. In this way, the user can see who has shared a certain file, a link to the shared file, and modify the access rights of different users on the same device.

Enhancing touch device selection

Users who use touch devices can swipe their finger directly on the SkyDrive.com interface. Choose the right project to better integrate with the Windows 8 device touch experience.

Improved Support for Drag and Drop

As shown, the updated SkyDrive supporter drags the file directly into the path file in the address bar.

In addition, the SkyDrive R&D team has improved sharing speed and stability, although these updates are not obvious in the user interface, but users can feel it.

SkyDrive is a key development target in Microsoft's new ecosystem and is an important part of Microsoft's strategy for cloud + end. In the past year, the number of SkyDrive users has skyrocketed, and the Microsoft development team naturally needs to respond quickly to user requests and continuously improve the quality of their services.
