1, check the jumper

The motherboard is designed with a jumper to clear the CMOS content. If the jumper is plugged in wrong, or the jumper cap is off, then the BIOS can't be saved naturally. Will be emptied once. So first we let the user find the location of the jumper against the motherboard manual, but found that the jumper cap is properly placed here, obviously the problem is not here.

2, detecting shrapnel

Although the user replaced the new battery, can the battery base not work, so that the battery can not supply power to the motherboard at all? We asked the user to double-check the battery holder on the motherboard, especially the shrapnel at the bottom. The shrapnel has good elasticity and can be in good contact with the battery. The battery power supply is not the cause of the problem.

3, static interference

Is it possible that a large amount of static electricity accumulated on the motherboard, causing interference to the motherboard line? We let the user find a wire and tie it to the ground of the chassis to release static electricity, but it still has no effect.

4, check the motherboard for leakage

The motherboard's startup, daily use everything is normal, so the motherboard failure this piece we will not consider. The user's motherboard has been in use for many years. Will some components have leakage? For this reason, we recommend that the user remove the motherboard and place some insulating rubber pads on the screw mounting holes below. The problem is solved, the BIOS can finally save the information.
