What can I do if I can't find the CD-ROM driver?

If you can't find the CD-ROM driver at the moment, then you can't use IDE.SYS instead. This is called the universal CD-ROM driver. However, the premise is that your CD-ROM drive cannot be a sound card interface. This driver is specially designed to deal with the IDE interface CD-ROM drive, which is very easy to use. It is used in the same way as a normal optical drive driver.

Add a sentence to CONFIG.SYS:

Device=Ide.sys /d:mscd001

Drive letter and path, please add it according to the situation. IDE.SYS can be found on the general tool tray or on the Windows installation disk.
