U disk boot GHOST backup or restore system

First, use VEOST to start GHOST conditions

1, must support USB device boot PC, also known as PC,

2. Must be able to put down the U disk of the Ghost file.

3. Prepare a small program called USBoot.

Special note: The main function of the USBoot applet is to make a USB boot disk, which can be used to boot the system into pure DOS.

Second, start the production process of GHOST with U disk

1. Insert the U disk and start the USBoot program.

2. Select the boot mode of the boot disk, including HDD (USB hard disk), FDD (USB floppy disk), and ZIP mode. Here you can choose HDD or FDD mode.

Special note: A USB flash drive of about 1GB can only be formatted into HDD mode. When the boot disk is created, the USB flash drive will be formatted, paying attention to data backup. The newly created U disk seems to be blank. In fact, there are COMMAND, MSDOS, IO and other boot programs, and of course DOS 7.0, which is similar to the 98 boot disk made with floppy disk.

3. Copy the Ghost main program to the U disk. NTFS file system backup is supported from Ghost 8.0. The next newer version runs under DOS for NTFS file system backup and restore.

Third, demonstrate how to use the U disk to start GHOST, and perform system Ghost backup or restore.

1. Insert the USB flash drive into the U port.

2, set to USB device boot in the BIOS.

Special note: Some PCs display the Removeable Device (movable), these are similar, as long as the settings are correct.

3, restart, use the U disk to start Ghost, directly into MS-DOS.

4, run the Ghost program on the U disk, and then enter the system backup or restore.
