First of all, enter regedit in the "Start" "Run”, then modify the registry:

1: Modify the two registry keys first:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Shell Folders

and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\User Shell Folders

Change the key value to a directory you have customized for the d drive,

2: Copy the original C:\\Documents and Settings\\username\\desktop, all the contents of the directory to the current d drive. table of Contents.

3: Log off and log in again.
