Download the AHCI driver corresponding to the motherboard

Firstly download the AHCI driver corresponding to the motherboard on the network. According to the motherboard chipset, the corresponding AHCI driver will be different if the user does not know himself. What is the model of the motherboard chipset, you can use the Everest software to check it out. Note that before installing the AHCI driver, you must determine which chipset your motherboard uses to select the corresponding driver, otherwise the installation process cannot continue. After the driver is downloaded, extract it to a directory on the hard disk.

Update the disk controller driver

1. Right click on "My Computer", select "Device Manager" in the pop-up menu, and then double-click in the pop-up interface. "IDE A-TA/ATAPI Controller", where you can see the disk controller with the normal driver installed, right click on it and select "Update Driver" in the pop-up menu. In the pop-up page, select "Install from list or specific location".

3. In this interface, click "Browse" on the right side, and find the driver directory that was just extracted in the pop-up dialog box.

4, find the corresponding driver in it, pay attention to the selected driver must be consistent with the motherboard chipset. At this point, a warning will pop up, indicating that there may be a problem with this driver. Do not worry about it, just click "Yes". After that the system will be blue screen, this is normal.

Enter the BIOS to complete the final settings

Press the "reset" button on the chassis to restart the computer, enter the motherboard BIOS, change the working mode of the SATA hard disk controller to "AH-CI", different The design of the motherboard BIOS may be different. If you do not understand the user, you can check the instructions on the motherboard.

After the successful installation of AHCI driver, you can see

in the device manager so that you can not reinstall the AHCI function of the hard disk and turn on the AHCI function of the hard disk. The running speed will be significantly faster than before.
