3.7.1 Accessibility Manager

The Accessibility Manager, as its name implies, is a tool that can manage accessibility tools in Windows. The tool itself does not complete or implement any special features, but it can help users to easily use other auxiliary tools, and through this tool, users can also make some simple settings for some other special auxiliary tools, for example, setting The On-Screen Keyboard tool runs automatically when the system starts up, and so on. This section will briefly introduce the use of the Accessibility Manager and related settings.

To use the Accessibility Manager, first open the Start menu and select Programs | "Attachment" | "Accessibility" | The Accessibility Manager command opens the Tool Manager dialog box, as shown in Figure 3 - 33. In this dialog box, the user can simply set up the auxiliary tools that have been added to the manager, or run the auxiliary tools or stop the running auxiliary tools. In this example, the Magnifier tool is added for the Tool Manager.

If the user can't see the screen and font display during the standard screen and font display process, you can select the "Automatically start when Windows starts" checkbox in the tool manager. The box, once the system is restarted, the system will automatically run the "magnifying glass" application, so that users with visual impairments no longer have to worry about not seeing the screen. If the user wants to run the Magnifier now, click the Start button and the Magnifier dialog box will appear with the enlarged screen, as shown in Figure 3 - 34. From this screen, the user can see that the screen is divided into two interfaces, the following is the Windows standard display interface, and the upper interface is the display that doubles the standard interface. If the user still can't see the enlarged screen, you can continue to increase the magnification of the Magnifier by using the Magnification spinner in the Magnifier dialog box. In addition, the user can also make some other related settings through the "Magnifying Glass" dialog box, for example, enable the "Magnifying Glass" check box to enable the "Magazine" check box so that the screen display tracks the text the user is editing. You can also select the Reverse Color check box to have the enlarged screen display the standard screen interface in reverse color.

If the user wants to stop the running auxiliary tool through the "Tool Manager" dialog box, for example, the user is running the "On-Screen Keyboard" program through the "Tool Manager", in the "Tool Management" Click the Stop button in the "Dialog" dialog so that the "On-Screen Keyboard" program will be closed.
