How to modify the registry to enable large cache under Vista

  
        Even ordinary computer users should know that whether you are a Windows XP system or a Windows Vista user, if the computer hardware configuration is high, increasing the system cache capacity can improve the performance of the whole machine.

Click "Start" → "Run", enter "regedit" in the open dialog box and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
Expand to: HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession ManagerMemory Management, then find and double-click to open LargeSystemCache in the right window, change its default value of "0" to "1" (as shown below):

Modify the maximum cache Value
After modifying the key value, the user can manually adjust the system cache according to the size of the respective system memory under the Vista platform, so as to improve the overall performance of the system.
