Vista uses 4GB or more memory instability solution

My computer configuration is: AMD Athlon64 X2 3600+ processor, Biostar TA690G AM2 motherboard (set shield, use stand alone), the motherboard supports four memory slots, my memory is 2GB & times; 2+1GB× 2, the graphics card is Sapphire ATi HD3650, using Vista6SP1 with 6GB memory, the sound card and graphics card can not be driven, if you use 4GB memory, the sound card can drive up, but the noise is emitted. Using 6GB memory to install Vista 64 (not integrated SP1), the graphics card can not be driven, if it is 4GB, the graphics card can be driven, but often appears on the screen "white line", and unstable. I used to install Vista 64 when I was not using it. At the time, 2GB of memory was stable, and the Vista 32-bit operating system was also stable.
Solution: This problem occurs because the 690G motherboard memory address problem, Vista 32 can only recognize 4GB of memory, so everything is normal when installing Vista, and there will be problems when installing Vista64, usually Refreshing the new BIOS will solve the problem.
Orpheus technical user tips: At present, the memory price is cheap, so many users use more than 4GB of memory, and especially some early motherboards, there will be certain problems in memory addressing, therefore, it is recommended to upgrade Before the memory, upgrade the motherboard BIOS to the latest version to avoid compatibility issues. In addition, for the average user, it is recommended to still install the Vista 32 operating system, and use RAMDISK to divide the excess memory into virtual disks to store system swap files or temporary files to accelerate system performance.
