Arbitrarily set the number of mouse scroll lines in the Vista system

  

When browsing a web page or folder in the Vista operating system, you can skip 3 lines each time you move the mouse wheel, which is enough for ordinary users. However, for users with a large amount of browsing, it may be more convenient and quick to adjust to 10 lines per scroll. At the same time, users can adjust this parameter according to their own habits.

1. Enter “regedit” in the "Start" " Search” menu to open the Registry Editor program.

2. Locate the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Control Panel\\Desktop" registry entry in the left window of the editor.

3, then right click on the DWORD value named "WheelScrollLines" in the right window of the editor, select “Modify” The value I entered here is “10”, which means that the mouse scrolls 10 lines at a time (Figure 1).
