Add missing components in IIS, how to install?

I often heard from friends that I couldn't find the item to install iis, and it only appeared after installing the iss. It is estimated that it was generated after the virus was installed in the package. Is there any solution? For this, Xiaobian consulted the professionals. And learned that iis, originally an optional package for the Windows NT version, was subsequently released with Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, and Windows Server 2003, but there is no IIS on the Windows XP Home version. Finally, I got the following solution to solve the problem, and the experiment is feasible. The specific method is as follows:
1 start → run, enter C:\\windows\\inf\\sysoc.inf (here assume your system is installed) In the C drive), the system will automatically open the sysoc.inf file with Notepad.
2 Find the [Components] section in sysoc.inf and continue to find a line similar to iis=iis.dll, OcEntry, iis.inf, hide, 7 (if not, you can put “iis=iis. Dll, OcEntry, iis.inf,, 7 & rdquo; code fill).
Replace iis=iis.dll, OcEntry, iis.inf, hide, 7 with iis=iis.dll, OcEntry, iis.inf ,, 7. Then save and close. (If you are afraid of correcting the error, first backup sysoc.inf)
3 Then copy the two files IIS.DL_ and IIS.IN_ in the winxp installation directory i386 to a temporary directory (for example, C: \\htmer), then at the command prompt, the current directory is transferred to C:\\htmer (start → run, type cmd, open a command prompt, then type cd c:\\htmer, press Enter.) Execute < Br>EXPAND IIS.DL_ IIS.DLL
EXPAND IIS.IN_ IIS.INF
Then copy the iis.inf file to the c:\\windows\\inf directory and copy the iis.dll file to c:\\windows In the \\system32\\setup directory.
4 start → set → control panel → add or remove programs → add /remove Windows components, this time as usual to install IIS, the process will ask you to choose the location of the winxp installation CD, just enter The specified directory can be installed normally. (If the system wants to be certified, you can choose to cancel)
5 After installation, you may not be able to use it directly. You need to make some settings for IIS:
Control Panel & Rarr; Management Tools & Rarr; Internet Service Manager, then Right click “Default WEB Site”, go to the “Directory Security” tab, click “Anonymous Access and Verification Control” and “Edit” button will pop up the new authentication method window, then click on it. “Anonymous access” in the "Edit" button, will "Allow IIS control password" & gt; comprehensive check off, and then all the way back.
Sometimes, in some versions of XP, we will find that there is no option to install IIS in the Add and Remove WIndows component, and we urgently need to install IIS. What should we do? As long as you are serious According to the steps in the above tutorial, step by step implementation, you will soon be able to solve your problem.
