Use word to make the underline far from the text

Underline is a format that is often used in our word and excel documents, which can highlight the effect of some parts. However, the default underline is very close to the bottom edge of the text. When the layout is slightly larger, the underline effect is very ugly. Sometimes for some special needs, I hope that they should not be too much "nearly", looking for a long time in Word, found that Word does not provide us with direct modification. After some exploration, I finally found a solution, as follows, I hope to be helpful to some friends.
1. First, type a space before and after the text, select the text and the spaces before and after it, and set the underline format for it.
2. Select the text (do not select the space before and after the text), click the “format →font” menu command, and select the "character spacing" tab in the pop-up "font" , set the “Location” drop-down box to “Raise”, set the “Pound Value” to “2 lbs”, and click the “OK” button (as shown).
3. Finally, set the spaces before and after the text to white. This looks like a lot better!
Friends who use Word often have this feeling. After setting the underline format for text in Word, the underline is very close to the text, and the two are almost connected together. Not beautiful enough. After research and exploration, I found a way to draw the underline and the bottom distance of the text. The above has been dedicated to everyone, you can try it.
