Meet the seven main default startup items of MSCONFIG

For fans who are constantly surfing the Internet, it is inevitable that they will encounter some windows popping up when the computer is turned on. In general, the solution is to run the system configuration utility MSCONFIG in the "Start" menu, select the "Start" item in the dialog window, remove all the URLs, and the htm with the extension hta. The url is checked, but why was the original project that was fixed after the startup changed? Don't worry, also check the regedit/s project in the "Startup" item. The problem is solved, but we often miss something, and it is not practical to hook all the startup items in MSCONFIG and test them one by one! Hehe... So, we need to know which ones are the default startup items and which are illegal items in the MSCONFIG startup. Or take a look at the author's following, be aware of it.

For different versions of WINDOWS, MSCONFIG will be slightly different (Editor's note: Win2000 does not have MSCONFIG, but you can copy a msconfig.exe from WinXP to use). I will use Win98 SE as the blueprint. There are seven main default startup items in this version. Let's look at it...

1. Welcome command statement is C:\\WINDOWS\\Welcome.exe /r

Welcome to the Windows program, this does not need me to say it! This welcome program will appear when you start the system for the first time after installation, and it has almost no use. You can safely KILL it off.

2. The TaskMonitor command statement is C:\\WINDOWS\\taskmon.exe

This is the task detection program. This monitor will record the usage of the software and save the data to Windows\\applog applog.ind file, it is recommended to keep.

3, internat.exe command statement is internat.exe

Attention! Looking at this project from the name will make many people mistakenly think that the network is related, but it is not, because it is a word worse than the Internet, here is the input method icon, look at the bottom right corner of your computer. The En icon in the bar is it!

3. The ScanRegistry command statement is C:\\WINDOWS\\scanregw.exe /aotorun

This entry is the registry backup program. The function is to back up the registry every time you boot. The registry is very important for WINDOWS, so it is strongly recommended that you use it because there are too many malicious code sites, or the registry is destroyed due to illegal operations. The last registry can be restored. Are you prepared?

5. The SystemTray command statement is SysTray.Exe

This item is a program that manages resident memory. It is recommended to keep it. In this case, the system will become slower and slower after using the computer for a period of time. The situation will be reduced a little.

6. The SchedulingAgent command statement is C:\\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM\\mstask.exe

This is the system plan task. If we don't use the scheduled task, it is generally useless. If you need to use a scheduled task, this is necessary!

7. The LoadPowerProfile command statement is Rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, LoadCurrentPwrScheme (it will appear twice after the system is installed!)

This is the power management program. It is recommended to keep it. If it is disabled, it will not be effective in the "Power Management" property in the Control Panel.

Ok! These are some of the default startup projects for Windows. Next, exclude some of the software installed by yourself, such as the Chinese website of 3721, multimedia keyboard, mouse and the like. Others can kill it. ^_^!
