Example 3 : Cannot install 6.0

after uninstalling Kaspersky 5.0 Symptom: During the installation of Kaspersky 6.0, follow the program prompts to uninstall the old version of Kabbah 5, but every time you need to restart it to continue Installed, the same prompt still appears after reboot, and 6.0 can not be successfully installed.

Cause: This is caused by the fact that 5.0 is not completely uninstalled, because Kabbah will keep a NTFS data stream in the registry when it is uninstalled by default. This is the residual registry information, which caused the Kaspersky 6.0 installer to always think that the machine has been installed 5.0, which caused the installation to fail.

Prescription: Install Kaspersky 5 again, remove "for the future" Check the box before using the Save NTFS data stream, and then install 6.0 (see Figure 3).
