Let Windows XP desktop refresh without text

We are used to putting a lot of shortcuts on the desktop, many of which are very familiar to us. The text below the shortcut looks unsightly. Can it be changed to blank? Can the system make blank file names exist?

There are always some texts under the Windows XP desktop icon. Most of the program icons are quite clear. If you can make it disappear, you can make the desktop more refreshing. I found an easy way to eliminate it, which is to rename the icon to a space. Of course, the system will never allow spaces to be named, so it needs a little trick.

The first step is to make sure that the background of the text under the icon on the desktop is transparent. Press Win+Break to open "System Properties", then click the Performance "Settings" button in the "Advanced" tab, select "Adjust to Best Look" or select "Custom" from the Visual Effects tab, then In the list below, select "Use shadows for icon labels on the desktop" to make settings.

In the second step, right click on the desktop icon to select Rename, select "Chinese-Internal Code" input method to enter aad3, enter a space, press Enter to confirm, and then select other icons, you can immediately see the icon The text has completely disappeared. In this way, you can erase the text under each icon. Of course, you don't want to eliminate the text.

Tip:

1, in fact, you can also hold down the Alt key, and then enter "0160" on the keypad, this can also achieve the same effect.
2, if you can not find the internal code input method, you can right click on the input method switching icon to select "Settings", then click the "Add" button to select the installation from the "Keyboard Layout /Input Method" drop-down list. The typing code should be between aaa1- affe, such as: abc1, abc2, abd1, abd2..., there are no characters in the font in the font, so although they are different words, they are also displayed as spaces, you just need not repeat the same code. Named, the system will not protest. Also choose the encoding of the latter point to avoid calling the words made by the word-making program.

Recycle Bin Rename Method

1. Press <Start>Key-> Press <Run> -> Enter regedit
2. Press -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\ SOFTWARE\\Classes\\CLSID Press -> -> shellFolder primary key.
3, left-click on the "Attributes" in the right window, in the pop-up dialog box, change the key value "40 01 00 20" to "50 01 00 20".
4, if the right window has "CallForAttributes" then delete.
5, close the "Registry Modifier", then the name of your "Recycle Bin" can be changed how to change. Hehe~~! (You don't need to restart to see the effect even ^_^)

However, if you choose a beautiful picture on the desktop, but still blocked by some icons, will there be a feeling of uncomfortable? What?
Right click on the desktop - arrange icons - cancel "display desktop icon",
right click on the taskbar - toolbar - check "desktop", the program name on the desktop is controlled within four Chinese characters, English name can be abbreviated shorthand, can not be abbreviated after the word with ~ omitted, as long as you know it

In the taskbar's quick launch bar to place the network connection and IE two commonly used icons, the other does not.

In addition, my taskbar is at the top of the screen. Method: Right-click on the taskbar, unlock the taskbar, and then drag the taskbar to the top of the screen and lock it.

After booting up, my desktop is empty. The left side of the taskbar is only "Start", "Network Connection" and "IE", and only "Desktop" on the right, anti-virus software (always hidden) and time.

My start menu only has three buttons "All Programs", "Notes" and "Close Computer" as follows:
Right-click on the taskbar--Properties--Start Menu--Customize ,
1, select the small icon under the General tab, start the number of menu programs to select 0 and clear the list, cancel the display of "Internet" and "email" on the start menu,
2, under the Advanced tab , unhighlight the newly installed program, only check "Enable drag and drop" in the "Start Menu Item", leave the other items unchecked or select "Do not show this item", cancel "List my recently opened documents" Check and clear the list.

Tips:

Open the hotkey for running the program--Win+R,
Open the hotkey for the search program--Win+F
Open the help and support heat Key--Win+F1
Display the hotkey of the desktop--Win+D

The control panel and other programs originally displayed in the start menu can be accessed from my computer because of the low usage rate.

Simple and clear, my computer and start menu are perfect.
