Many system users are relatively new to DOS systems. DOS is an operating system carrier used by Microsoft on personal computers. DOS plays a pivotal role in the IBM PC compatible market. You can directly manipulate the files on the management hard disk and run them as DOS. So, if it is XP system how to enter the DOS system?

XP system into the DOS system method:

If it is Windows XP, you can only enter a virtual command line window, the method is :

Start->Run->In the dialog box that opens, type “command ” or“cmd”, then click “OK"!!

Or:

Start->All Programs->Accessories-> Command Prompt

How Windows XP/98 System Enters DOS Method:

1. Although the computer has problems but can still enter Windows, please click “start → program → MS-DOS mode", you can also click "start → run”, enter in the dialog box that opens “ Command” (without quotes, the same below). If your system is Windows XP/2000, enter "ldd;cmd" to enter DOS.

2. For Windows 98 system, you can also click “Start →Close System", in the dialog box that appears, select “restart the computer and switch to MS-DOS environment” Enter DOS.

3. After booting through the self-test, when the words “Starting Windows 98…” appear on the screen, press the “F8” key immediately, and then select “Safe Mode Command Prompt Only” or “ld”; ; Command Prompt Only”, you can enter safe mode DOS or pure DOS.

4. The system crashes, restart the computer, hold down the Ctrl key, select "Safe Mode Command Prompt Only" or "Command Prompt Only" in the screen message that appears, you can enter the safe mode DOS Or pure DOS.

5. If you can't enter Windows, restart your computer, enter CMOS, change the first boot sequence (1st Boot Device) in the BIOS to floppy drive (Floppy), and insert it into the system disk after saving.
