Hard disk bad channel high efficiency repair HDD method

System faults What are you most afraid of, some people are network problems, but many users are most afraid of hard disk bad sectors, it can be said that hard disk bad sectors (especially physical Bad sectors) are the most headaches of all hard drive failures. It makes your love machine crash frequently, but it makes all your data disappear. In the past, we generally only used low-level or hidden methods. However, low grids will have a certain impact on the life of the hard disk; hiding will cause more bad sectors to spread, these are not good methods.

Now we can easily repair bad sectors of the hard disk with HDD Regenerator

Shell (hereafter referred to as HDD). HDD is a powerful hard drive repair software, the program can help you really repair the physical damage of the surface of the regenerated disk (such as bad sectors), not just hide it! After the program is installed, it will help you create a boot disk, then Guide you to repair and regenerate the hard disk under DOS, the interface is simple and easy to operate!

For example, my 3.2GB Quantum hard disk is divided into two areas, C and D, with a total of 800KB bad sectors. Distributed in multiple places. Due to bad sectors, I often “open my computer” and it crashes, and the system is very unstable. It takes five hours to scan a full disk with Windows, and it will enter a full scan after every abnormal shutdown. In addition, bad sectors continue to spread. Later, I fixed the bad track with HDD and the computer returned to normal. Let's come with me and say badbye BYE— BYE.

Make a boot disk

After downloading the program, run hddreg_v1.31.exe and follow the prompts to install the HDD. After running the program, click regeneration—>create dikette to insert a floppy disk as prompted to create a boot disk. (Note: The program can also run directly under Windows 98. The method is to click regeneration—>startregeneration, the program will run under MS-DOS for Windows, but it runs under pure DOS for data security recommendations).

Scan bad sectors

After starting the computer with the startup disk, the program will run automatically

(Note: Please set the floppy drive to the first boot in the BIOS). The program will first detect the hard disk in your computer and ask you to choose a hard disk to be repaired (if you have more than one hard disk), select and press Enter, the HDD starts scanning, and the HDD can start scanning from any position. If you know the location of the bad track in advance, you can directly fill in the corresponding value to enter, which can save a lot of time. If you want to stop scanning, click “ctrl+break” to exit the program.

Repairing Bad Roads

When the HDD scans for bad sectors, it will display the red "B" word on the progress bar, and then it will automatically fix it, and the blue one will be repaired. ;R” word annotation. After scanning and repairing, it is normal to use the hard disk.

Points to Note in Use

1. If the bad sectors of the hard disk are more and more scattered, the HDD will take longer to repair. Please wait patiently, it took me six hours. Get it done.

2. For data security, the repair should be under pure DOS, and it is strongly recommended to do a good job of backing up the data.

3. If the original data is inaccessible due to bad sectors, please backup the original data immediately after the repair, even if the repaired hard disk is completely likely to generate new bad sectors.

4. Unregistered users will stop running each time they find a bad track and fix it. If you want to fix it, run it again. This applies to users with fewer bad sectors.

As a member of the storage device, the hard drive plays an extremely important role. However, since the hard disk is a magnetic medium, its life and stability are not as good as those of a memory device, and various problems are inevitable when used. And to make the situation more complicated, because the hard disk involves the underlying settings of the system, so often can not solve the problem under the familiar Windows, you must go to DOS to deal with, which is somewhat confusing for many DIY novices, after all, They have not experienced the DOS era.
