The solution that causes XP system to fail online is

Users who have used xp system sometimes find such a problem, that is, the system can not use the Internet one day, it may be a connection error, it may be a prompt. The network is limited, and the network is not on the top. How to solve this problem?

XP system network failure 1 - unable to establish the correct network connection

The phenomenon is as follows: When the XP system establishes a network connection, it prompts a connection error.

Analysis of the cause: We usually consider the login password error, the software and hardware of the network card.

Solution: First, launch IE browser, click "Tools/Internet Options", switch to the "Connections" tab, enter the password to complete; if the fault persists, then check the softness of the network card ,hardware. Right click on the desktop "My Computer", select "Attributes/Hardware", click "Device Manager", and check whether the network card has a yellow exclamation point in the opened interface. If there is a yellow exclamation point, reinstall the network card. If the fault cannot be solved again, uninstall the NIC driver and reinstall it. After the installation is completed, if the connection still cannot be completed normally, you can double-click the connection and set the IP address and subnet mask of the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the “Properties” property. The hardware and system are normal. Underneath, it should be able to connect properly.

XP system network failure 2. Local connection is restricted or no connection

The phenomenon is: every time you enter Win XP system, a prompt will pop up < Local connection is restricted or not Connect & rdquo;, and a yellow exclamation point appears on the network connection.

Analysis of the cause: If it is an intranet, check whether the intranet server has assigned IP to the computer, or do you want to specify the IP manually? If it is ADSL dial-up, then the network setting in the network card is "Automatic" In the case of obtaining an IP address, if the IP is not obtained, this will be the case. Because the network server of the network service provider will only allocate one IP to the virtual network card of ADSL, it will not be assigned an IP to that network card.

Solution: The easiest way is to right-click the NIC on the system home tray and click the “Status → Attributes” button to open the Local Connection Properties dialog box, at “General&rdquo ; remove the tab on the tab; "Notify me when this connection is restricted or no connection" “√” in front of the option. However, doing this will cause the Win XP system to search the DHCP server every time it is booted to obtain a dynamic IP, which affects the running speed of the latest XP system after downloading and installing. The best way is to remove “ notify me when this connection is restricted or no connection, “√” in front of the option, then <;this connection uses the following items>; double-click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) & rdquo;, select “ use the following IP address & rdquo;, then enter for example 192.168.1.1 (IP address), 255.255.255.0 (subnet mask), manually specify the IP to speed up the Win XP system after downloading and installing Startup speed.

The system can not access the Internet mostly due to these two faults, of course, there are other reasons that can not access the Internet, but basically you can try the method shared by the above tutorial. Analysis and solve the problem that XP can't access the Internet may be helpful to some users, so as to understand the problem of XP Internet access!
