Two major steps to reinstall IE browser in Windows XP system

Many users have encountered such problems. After optimizing the computer, or using the Windows XP Vista beautification CD, I found that IE can not be used normally, and try to "Add/Remove Windows Components" in the operation. After many times, it didn't work, and then downloaded “IE uninstall tool” the result was a mess of the registry change. After many hardships, I finally got it. I wrote down the bitterness and shared the skills with you. I hope that the users will not have to go later. Detours (actually the registry is too much trouble~)

Step 1: Open the "Registry Editor" and find [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREmicrosoftActive SetupInstalled Components{89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383}], Change the DWORD value of IsInstalled to 0.

Step 2: Put the Windows XP installation disk, type in the "Start →Run" window

"rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%Infie.inf"

The parameter is followed by the installation disk IE location. Usually you can't find IEXEPLORER.EXE. This is just to locate the path to the CD: I386 is OK.

In fact, there are two steps, but I have tried it for a long time. Many times, solving computer problems is a constant attempt. I hope users can try more.
