How to set the WinXP system to clear the page file when shutting down

Page file refers to the file created by the operating system reflecting the size of the hard disk space built and used by virtual memory, also called virtual memory file. Page files are also generated when the XP system is used. How to clean it?

Operation steps

Open the Control Panel and click on Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy.

Expand the Local Policies - Security Options, double-click the Clear virtual memory page file.

Check is enabled, can be determined.

After setting To restart will see the settings to take effect. The page file is equivalent to browsing the record, and people can see that it will reveal privacy and clear it.
