Easily put a notebook on your notebook, no longer standby or hibernation

Friends who use notebooks know that by default, the notebook will automatically enter the “standby” state by default, which brings a lot of inconvenience to our work. Sometimes we don't want to close the door and go into standby. Obviously, the default situation can't meet our requirements. Now our goal is to cover the book and be free.

A lot of computer rookie friends still think that this is a computer malfunction, but it is not. This is a function provided by the system software. When the display is closed, it enters standby or sleeps to save energy. This function is always Closed, then how to solve it? Today, I will explain the solution to it.

Right-click on the blank space of the desktop, select the property in the pop-up menu, and select the screen saver in the display properties window. Under the power button, in the pop-up power option properties, select the drop-down menu that follows when you close the laptop, and select it to take no action.

Note: At this time, the screen output will be automatically turned off, but the machine is still on, it consumes power. If it is only powered by battery, when the battery is exhausted, it may cause the loss of unsaved data. Therefore, if you do not use it for a long time, it is recommended to turn off the computer normally to avoid data loss.

Tips:

Hibernate: A state in which the computer first stores the information in memory before it is shut down. A simple understanding is that “Hibernate” will save a copy of the desktop and all open files and documents to the hard drive. When the computer wakes up from hibernation, it will directly load the “memory image” that was originally saved to the hard disk into memory, and all open applications and documents will be restored to the desktop.

Standby: When the computer enters the standby state, it will cut off the power of the hardware components used, and only keep the power to the computer memory to ensure that the information in the memory is in the “original” state. On the one hand, it ensures that the work data is not lost, on the other hand, it reduces the power consumption of the computer. In standby mode, you can cut off the power of peripheral devices, monitors, and even hard drives, and reserve normal power for the memory.
