Big secret! Xp system's own hidden file function

The extension of a file using a universal symbol is represented by a name. Hidden files use two main symbols "*" and "?" ( "*" for all symbols, "?" for single symbols), which you can use to represent any file. Many people don't know that Windows XP has the function of hiding files in addition to the commonly used operating system functions. Let's reveal this function together!

There are always some hard disks. The file does not want to be arbitrarily let other people view it. Of course, some professional encryption tools can be used to achieve the effect of hiding files, but this must be installed with a third-party encryption tool, which seems to be a bit of a fuss. In fact, by taking advantage of the WinXP system's own functions, we can hide files with bare hands.

The first trick: command law

Step1: Press the “Win R” key to open the “Run” dialog box and enter “ldd; cmd” to open the command prompt window. Then enter “md g:jm. & rdquo; And press the Enter key, create a new folder under the G drive called "ldm; jm." This folder is the folder we will use to store hidden files.

Step2: Enter the “Run” dialog again and enter the new encrypted folder “g:jm.” above. ”, this folder will be opened after hitting the Enter key. Next, just put the files you want to hide into this folder to complete the file hiding.

Now, anyone, including yourself, can't open the folder by double-clicking it directly. After double-clicking, it will only get an error message box. When you want to open the folder, you can open it by entering the path to the folder in the Run & rdquo; dialog box. If you want to delete this folder, just delete all of its contents and go back to the command prompt window and run “rd g:jm. & rdquo;

The second trick: parasitic method

If you have an important document that needs to be hidden, disguise it as a double-click to play the song, bypassing others' sight and doubt, 岂Not good!

Step1: Create a new folder and copy the files you need to hide to this folder. Then find the song file and copy it to this folder.

Step2: Relocate to the above folder where the hidden files are stored in the Explorer, and rename them according to the “F2” keys. The named rules are: song name. {00020c01-0000-0000-c000-000000000046}, for example, "Auspicious Sambo." {00020c01-0000-0000- c000-000000000046}”. Right-click the mouse to refresh the current screen, the folder just automatically becomes the icon of a song, and double-clicking will automatically start the player to play it. And when you want to open the file yourself, just right click on the song icon and select the “open” command.

Finally, put this renamed folder in the song folder, no one is likely to find the file you want to hide, but you have to remember clearly, to prevent long time. I even forgot myself.

Tip: The above numbers and symbols need to be entered under the English input method, otherwise they will not succeed.
