Solve the problem of setting sharing in WinXP system

Now that a lot of xp systems have enabled guest, they can't access the network. What is the problem? The solution is as follows:

Why can't I access the application?

1. By default, xp disables the guest account

2. By default, xp's local security policy is forbidden. Guest user access from the network

3. By default, xp's local security policy - user rights assignment, & ldquo; empty password users can only log in to the console & rdquo; is enabled, that is, empty Any account with a password cannot be accessed from the network and can only be logged in locally. The default default password for the guest is

. If you need to use the guest to access the xp, you need to perform the above three settings: enable the guest, modify the security policy to allow The guest accesses from the network, disables the security policy in 3 or adds a password to the guest.

When accessing xp, the user name in the login dialog box is gray, always a guest user, and cannot enter another user account.

The reason is that this security policy is at work (management tools - local security policy - security options - & ldquo; network access: local account sharing and security mode)" see the attached figure.

By default, xp access mode is "only guest", then you access it, of course, it is fixed as a guest can not enter other user accounts.

So, the easiest way to access xp is to not need to enable the guest, just modify the security policy above to "classic". Other systems can access their own account information by accessing xp.
