Windows XP operating system startup troubleshooting

The friend called to say that his Win XP added a password to the super user administrator, and it was very slow when entering the interface when starting. After listening, it felt that the failure should not be related to the password. Look at the phenomenon, it will not move after the "Windows is starting..." interface. Since I didn't think it was related to the password at the beginning, I changed a lot of settings after entering the security mode. It took a lot of twists and turns, and finally finally solved. The XP is set to automatically log in. After adding the password, it can't be entered. Afterwards, it will be tested on other Win XP. After the password is added to the administrator in the automatic login system, the above phenomenon occurs. . I will write down the solution and hope to help people who have encountered similar problems. 1. Restart the system. Press F8 before entering Win XP, select “Safe Mode”, enter the password of the administrator user and enter the Win XP interface. 2. Enter control userpassWords2 at the "Start" -> "Run" field, and the interface of Figure 1 will pop up. Figure 1 3. Select "Use the machine, the user must enter the user name and password" as shown in Figure 1. After the restart, the multi-user login interface appears. Select the user to enter the corresponding password to enter. 4. To set to automatic login, select a user in Figure 1, uncheck "To use this machine, the user must enter the user name and password", after confirming, pop up an interface for entering the password for the user, be sure to enter a The password, otherwise the above failure will occur.
