Two alternative skills for Windows XP Quick Shutdown

As we all know, the shutdown speed of Windows XP is relatively slow, we can find another way to speed up the shutdown of Windows XP system.

1. Shutdown using the Shutdown.exe program

Shutdown.exe is a shutdown program, which is saved in the C:\\Windows\\system32 folder (C drive is the system). Create a shortcut for Shutdown.exe on the desktop, right click and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu. Add "-s -t 10" after the path of the "Target" text box in the properties dialog box, where "-s" means shut down the computer, of course you can change to "-r" to restart the computer; "-t" Indicates that the countdown time is set, and the following number "10" is 10 seconds. Readers can make changes based on their needs, which can greatly reduce the shutdown waiting time.

There is also a parameter that is "-c shutdown display prompt message", that is, when the system is shut down, the system will pop up a message showing its own settings. Note that the shutdown prompt message cannot exceed 127 characters.

2. Magical "Task Manager"

In Windows XP, press "Ctrl+Alt+Del" to bring up the "Task Manager" window and activate the menu "Shutdown" while holding down "Ctrl" key, then select the "Shutdown" or "Restart" menu item. At this time, you will find that the shutdown speed of Windows XP can be said to be an instant (exaggerated ^_^).
