Use Windows XP's photo collection management function

Because of the work needs to collect a lot of beautiful pictures in the computer, face more and more pictures, how to organize and manage? In the Windows 98 era, of course, please ask some professional tools to manage. Now with Windows XP, the situation is very different. You don't need to install other tools. Just use the "Picture Collection" folder and the above problems will be solved.

★Storing Pictures

By default, pictures from a digital camera or scanner are stored in the “Pictures” folder under “My Documents”. It can be done when the picture is small. If there are many types of pictures, it will be very messy. It takes a lot of effort to find a picture. At this time, it is necessary to build sub-folders such as "landscape" and "person" in the "picture collection" folder. In the future storage, it will be OK to put different categories of pictures into the corresponding subfolders.

★View pictures

Pictures stored in the “Pictures” folder can be automatically displayed as thumbnails or slideshows by clicking the various commands on the “View” menu. You can use different viewing methods.

Thumbnail View When you open the "Favorites" folder, you will find that the image is automatically displayed as a thumbnail. The top left of the window is the details of the image, including size, size, and creation time. Using thumbnails can help you quickly determine which images are included in your album. With this view, the last four images modified in each folder are displayed as thumbnails on the folder icon (see Figure 1).
