Automatically make Windows XP easily remember more folder views

By default, Windows XP remembers the settings of the most recent 400 folders. If you have set up more than 400 folders, the oldest folder settings will be lost. Can I make Windows XP remember more folder views? By modifying the registry, we can arbitrarily set the maximum number of folders it remembers:

Open the Registry Editor, expand the [HKEY_ CURRENT _USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Shell] branch, and place the child in the right window. The value of the key "BagMRU Size" (REG_DWord type, if not created first) is changed to the maximum number of folder views you want to set for the system to remember (for convenience, you can change the number to decimal and then enter the number, such as "1000" ).

Then expand the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\ Software\\Microsoft

\\Windows\\ShellNoRoam] branch, and also modify the value of the subkey "BagMRU Size" in the right window to what you want to set. The maximum number of folder views that the system remembers. After the modification is completed, exit the Registry Editor, restart the computer or log in again to take effect.

Tip: If Windows XP can't remember the folder settings normally, you can clear all the folder settings first (ie delete the "BagMRU" and "Bags" subkeys in the registry editor), and then Make the above modifications.
