After you leave the dormitory or office, you may be worried about whether your computer has been moved by others; you may not be able to find the reason why the computer is slow to shut down.

If no special installation of control, monitoring software, these problems really no way to solve it? Not so. There are already very detailed listeners in Windows 2000. It can help you check who is logged into your computer, who is booting, shutting down, and find solutions to problems like slow shutdown.

Step One: Open the Registry Editor, locate the [HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWin dowsCurrentVersionpolicIEssystem], establish DWord value named "verbosestatus" in it, then it will be the value to 1.

Step 2: Still in this position, check if there is any "DisableStatusMessages" key, if any, change its value to 0, or simply delete it.

third step: Close the Registry Editor, and restart the computer. Go to "Start → Control Panel → Administrative Tools → Event Viewer" and click on "System" and you will see more content. User login, boot, shutdown and other information will be reflected here.
