Automatic mapping of network drives

  
        

If you use file sharing in Windows frequently, you may know that you can not only browse shared files through "My Network Places" in Windows system, but also enter in the address bar of "My Computer": shared computer Name to browse shared files. For example: "\\computername\\sharename\\path\\filename".

However, using shared computer names to browse shared files can be cumbersome. Is there an easy way to browse shared files? We can simplify the process of browsing shared files by "mapping network drives".

The Windows system provides several methods for "mapping network drives". In the command line mode, we can use: "NET USE \\ computer name \\ share name \\ path".
