XP "Command Prompt" window content copy

Today to help the Chinese department to do a courseware, the courseware needs to reference some of the contents of the "command prompt" window. I thought this was a very simple matter, and it could be solved with screenshot software, but the fellow is not a "software fan" like me. There is no screenshot software on his machine. Use the Print Screen to take a full-screen screenshot and then crop it? It’s too much trouble! After groping, I found a particularly simple way to copy the contents of the Command Prompt window, as follows.

Step 1: Click “Start → Run”, enter CMD in the pop-up dialog box, click “OK” button to open the “Command Prompt” window.

Step 2: Right click in the "Command Prompt" window, select "Mark" in the pop-up shortcut menu (see Figure 1), then the mouse pointer will become a white small square ( See Figure 2).

Step 3: Hold down the left mouse button to select the part to be referenced, the selected part will be displayed in reverse (see Figure 3), the mouse will be Move the pointer to the highlighted area and right click, then the selected content will be copied to the clipboard. In the software that needs to be referenced (such as Word), click the right mouse button and select Paste to reference the selected content (see Figure 4).
