2K or XP password lost recovery method!

1. Restart WinXP first. At the moment after the startup screen appears, press F8 and select “Safe Mode with Command Line” to run. After the startup process is completed, the system will list the administrator user Administrator and normal users (such as abc) selection menu, select the administrator user Administrator, enter the command line mode and type the command: "net user abc 1234 /add", note! The word "abc" in the typed command is the username you have been using before, and the word "1234" is the user password. The purpose of the command is to forcibly change the login password of the "abc" user to "1234". If you want to add a user here (for example, the user name is 321 and the password is 4321), you should type "net user 321 4321 /add". After adding, you can use the "net localgroup administrator 321 /add" command to promote the user to System management group administrator user with super authority. Then restart WinXP, select the normal mode to run, you can log in to the abc user with the changed password "1234". This method is only applicable to WinXP installed with FAT32 partition and the user account is not a Chinese character name.

2.Remove WinXP through dual system

In addition to WinXP and other operating systems, you can use another operating system to start, and then delete the current SAM on C:\\windows\\system32\\config File (if WinXP is installed on the C drive, it can be deleted according to the actual situation), that is, the account password data file. Then restart WinXP, then the administrator administrator account has no password. Of course, if there is only one WinXP system, you can also remove the hard disk and switch to other machines to delete the SAM file.

This method is suitable for WinXP installed with FAT32 partition. If you use NTFS partition to install, you must ensure that other systems can access NTFS partition.

3. Solution for NTFS partition installation

Using a tool called NTFSDOS, use this tool to create a boot disk that can operate NTFS partitions from DOS. After booting DOS, switch to the system. If C:\\Windows\\system32, rename logon.scr to logon.scr.bak, copy a command.com and rename the file name to logon.scr, then restart the machine and wait. 15 minutes, the screen saver that should have appeared now becomes the command line mode, and has the administrator permission, through which you can change the password or add a new administrator account. After entering WinXP, change the name of the logon.scr.bak screen saver back. This method is suitable for WinXP installation on NTFS partitions.

4. Use other tools to rebuild WinXP login passwords

You can find many WinXP login passwords on the Internet. For example, you can use the Linux boot disks to access the NTFS file system and read them. The registry and rewrite the account password; use the NTAcess tool to bypass the system syskey protection, reset the WinNT/2000, WinXP password; and passware Kit, O&O Bluecon2000 and other tools, the specific operation will not be described, see the software Description of the tool.
