Solution not found for the file or folder pointed to by the shortcut

  

The file or folder pointed to by the shortcut was not found;

A prompt appears when clicking a shortcut in the Windows system: "No Find the file or folder 'xxx.xx' that the shortcut points to;

The reason for this phenomenon is that the path to the file or program has changed, and the simple point is that the shortcut has failed. For a simple example, create a new text document in the D drive, then right click to send to the desktop shortcut, after the desktop forms a shortcut to the text document, delete the newly created text document in the D drive, and then delete Going back to the desktop and clicking on its shortcut will prompt an error. This is because the specified file is not found by the file directory pointed to by the shortcut, so it will prompt: "The file or folder pointed to by the shortcut was not found";

The solution to the file or file pointed to by the shortcut was not found:

First, put a shortcut in the start menu and you must directly source the file. Go to the Start menu and not put the shortcut on the desktop into the Start menu, otherwise the Start Menu shortcut will not be available once the shortcut on the desktop is deleted;

Second, find the program The location of the source file of the file, right click on the source file, send to the desktop shortcut;

Third, in the "Recycle Bin" delete the shortcut source file "restore" to the beginning The location is OK;

The problem of not finding the file or folder pointed to by the shortcut is mostly caused by the user deleting or changing the location of the source file pointed to by the shortcut.
